You're playing Let's Make a Deal. You're trying to guess which of the three doors in front of you has a new car behind it. Guess right and you win the car.
You pick a door. Monty Hall then opens another door, behind which there is a goat. he then gives you a choice -- do you want to keep the door you picked, or do you want to switch your pick to the remaining, unopened door?
Now, here's the thing -- are you more likely to win if you switch or if you stand pat? Or does it matter?

Obviously, if you are playing Let's Make a Deal hosted by Monty Hall, you have invented some sort of time-travel device, and I can think of roughly 12,537 other things you could be doing to make vast sums of currency.
But that said, I would personally stand by my decision with the goat. Even if you do not "win" another prize, you have yourself a perfectly good lawn mower AND garbage disposal. Talk about value!
