Negative Drama

Post by Joe_Mello »

This is one of those things where you never encounter it in real life, but then you think about it and it's like "Wait, what?"

How do Drama Dice interact with someone rolling 0 or less dice? Is it as dumb (read: hilarious) an idea as I think it is?
Joe_Mello: Could you make a common sense roll, please, Ryu?
Ryushikaze: With Smart?
Joe_Mello: Sure
*Ryushikaze rolls*

This is actually addressed in the new rules (though not the Player Books for space reasons). Essentially, every drama die you spend removes the lowest die from your pool. Once you've reached one die, you can add dice as per normal.

It's not a common situation, but I can see where it might come into play. Though I think Miho's cooking would be a lost cause, regardless!
