I'm planning to port Exalted over into OVA myself. In fact, when I showed the rules to one of the gents in my game, the first words out of his mouth were "this would work perfectly for Exalted!".

I also plan on doing a mecha based game, a fantasy and some kind of supernatural modern setting.

It does. As long as you keep in mind the scale rules when your bad ass exalts deal with plain mortals. Also welcome to the boards!
