Does Knockback occur when you lose more than half your health in a SINGLE attack or just when the damage you take from an attack sends you to less than half your health (regardless of damage done)?

We (my group) interpreted that rule as half their maximum Health in damage in a single attack.

You are correct. I'm pretty sure I've made this explicitly clear in the revised text, but I'll be sure to check.
