Well there's Malancthon's Monstrous Scale and my own numerous attempts for Mobile Suit Gundam or at least my custom stetting for starters.

My advice on this topic is usually the same: It often works best to rename or modify an existing ability. It provides a framework that you know will play nice with other Abilities.

Break up an Ability that does too much and make that into new ones, like breaking Arcane Magic and making Sorcery and Shield Spells.
