A friend who is willing to run the game for me has show me the preview and Clay I must say I am truly impressed so far and can't wait to purchase the finished product. So much so I wish I could go back in time to when this kickstarter was still up and throw money at it for the hardcover. ((Cest la'vie!))
The Power Ceiling however is a really weird section for me. I don't really get what its trying to say and was hoping for some calrification.
Power Ceiling
Re: Power Ceiling
It can be a little confusing. Basically what it means is that no matter how many Weaknesses you take, you can only get an additional X levels of Abilities.
So if you have a Power Ceiling of 10 and the GM gives you 5 Levels of Abilities to start...
You can take 5 Levels of Abilities
You can take 10 Levels of Abilities and 5 Levels of Weaknesses
You can take 10 Levels of Abilities and 10 Levels of Weaknesses
You CANNOT take 15 Levels of Abilities and 10 Levels of Weaknesses. Even though you've paid off enough with the Weaknesses to earn more levels, you CANNOT exceed the power ceiling.
Does that help?
