I see the rpgnow pdf has been updated. see http://wiseturtle.com/.

Does this mean that if I order another print copy from RPGNow it will be updated?

how was the quality of your rpgnow book? Mine was a bit of a let down because the paper felt like some sort of thick newspaper. I rectified this by buying a distribution copy which I'm much happier with. I do have slightly obsessive-compulsive tendencies though, especially when it comes to paper. If...

Dude, you are crazy. Every RPG I have ever played has been perfect right out of the box. No need to house rule anything. Why are you messing with perfection?

Seriously though I for one refuse to comment on rule changes unless I've playtested them and I;m too busy :(

In any case, I will be updating the PDF to be on par with the distribution version soon, and include a few additional changes like the long standing typo of how many points you can spend on mecha. (It should be 2 per level, not 1). Oh god no! I've already purchased the RPGnow version in print, and ...

Not that I'm impatient to see the next installment of one of the finest and most under appreciated RPG's of recent times or anything, but how goeth progress on yon OVA Mecha?

Ricochet/OVA conversions

I'm curious to know if anyone is using ricochet for anything other than OVA.
Has anyone converted their existing game to ricochet, or buit their own homebrew based on it?

I force combat skill specialisations to take care of this. e.g Combat Skill (Sword) +3.

Also whats the chance you can post your custom magic system on the interweb somewhere? Sounds interesting.

Help with tatoo magic please

I'm trying to stat a girl with a magical dragon tatoo on her back. The dragon can engulf her skin to give her armour, or detach itself into a seperate entity. Kinda like the guy with all the snakes on his arms from the Electra movie. Any suggestions how I can do this? Should I make it a magic spell ...

Think I've been jumping the gun again by the looks of it. Gonna have to test the existing mechanics before crying, heh.

Alternate dice mechanics/question about scale

Woot just got my hardcopy! 16 days exactly from order at rpgnow to delivery here in sleepy old New Zealand. Stoked! I was expecting to wait up to 6 weeks. Just been giving the book the proper once over and I'm pretty impressed. The only thing I may bemoan is the randomness of the dice mechanic. Havi...

Its not too hard to guess what my favourite genre is - just look at my handle. I'm a huge fan of the ancient east. Ancient China, feudal Japan, and of course ninja's (Ninja Scroll and Naruto FTW). Oh and monks, especially badass fighting machines like the shaolin monks. Thats right my first love is ...

If it was me I'd spend enough time making throwaway bad guy stats that it wouldn't matter. This used to be me too but these days I don't have enough time. I've been a GM for over 15 years now, all I need to run an enjoyable game are a few bullet pointed sentences outlining key plot points and I can...
