So, I ran a game of OVA last night as a filler since our GM couldn't run that night. We decided to run Space Station 13 (that MMO) but with OVA.

The result: An intelligent ape who threw dung as a weapon and had a 'banana greatsword', a janitor, and literally just Ashura from Ashura's Wrath try to survive on a spaceship, and stop the ape who made a deal with the devil from imputing the nuclear self destruct codes.

All in all, it was a good campaign. May do it again.

Somehow half the OVA campaigns I read about turn into similar outlandish bouts of insanity.

My players refused to embrace the anime physics of my game, I had to force them to do crazy things like jumping 20 meters vertically and opening portals to Naraku inbetween the scenes.
