I just picked up the PDF from the DTRPG New Year's Sale. I was reading through character creation and I'm used to games where there are X Points, spend those, get extras from weaknesses and go from there. If I'm reading correctly there isn't a base of X just a create the concept and end up with your total Ability - Weakness = +/- 5

Is this correct or am I missing something in the creation?

Great. Then I can start working on my Hero Lab files fo rit now that I understand that.

If you want a system more similar to Hero, read over the Power Ceiling option, which behaves more like what you’re used to.

But otherwise, yes, you understand the default Ground Zero rules correctly!
