-What skills will you need to roll for?
-Will there be any other people competing?
This goes for any situation, really, whether it's Sports Day, Exam Day, OMG I NEED TO MAKE SENPAI NOTICE ME Day or Parts-Of-A-Camel Day. Don't overthink it.

If you want to give non-combat events a similar amount of focus/excitement as is usually attributed to combat, you can make use of Extended Actions to break them down into multiple rolls. If you’re really creative, you could even assign a task “Health” and have characters make “attacks” against it until it drops to zero. (For instance, breaking down an ornery judge’s resistance to liking your singing audition by attacking him with your musical melodies.)
Anything goes, just make sure everyone knows how it works beforehand.

That is pure genius! though i have a player that for some reason or another hates rolling more than once for any action. this angers me.
