Oh great and wise turtle, have you considered working with the community members to create an expansion book with new abilities and weaknesses? Perhaps examples of. Ustonized abolities using the perks and flaws? I for one would be down to help out.

This sounds like a great idea! D&D does it with the DMS guild and it works great for them! I think that this would be awesome for OVA!

Well open content license almost killed D&D. Maybe this is not such a good idea.

What if he does it like the dms guild does it and let people make stuff and then split the earning 50/50 that way everyone wins we get to make stuff and earn some extra cash and he gets the game out in the world and earns some cash and he has to do no work it is a win win! :)

Any news on this? I want to port my d20 game and book over, but I haven't seen anything about licensing anywhere. :?:

While not open content some games have done very well with being permissive of third party content. Savage Worlds springs to mind. And on a smaller scale things like Icons and Supers! (games that actually have a lot in common with OVA)have benefited from having a pile of third party content. One of the coolest things about the supers RPG community is the amount of third party support out there.

Also I really like the DMs guild and seems to give a crazy amount of new content and the creators can get paid half of what they make :)
