I see. It just seemed a bit limiting when it comes to making Kryptonians, well, superhuman when on earth. Then again, if one does counter all the "sources" of Kryptonian abilities in all the media, from the original comics to the movies to the animated series, it does seem like it requires a kind of "perfect storm" of variables to allow such a thing to happen.

But then again, wasn't there also a notation about blue suns giving Kryptonians even more of a power boost compared to normal yellow?

Anywho, with the holidays nearly over and done with, let's celebrate the new year with a new installment of mook profiles. First off we have the Pedal-Copter Lurker from the Jak and Daxter franchise.
Petal-Copter Lurker
Image
Essentially a purple-furred Babak with elongated arms, the Petal-Copter Lurker specializes in airborne reconnaissance with the use of Petal-Copters powered purely by the physical strength of the Lurker. Though crude and primitive on its own, the Pedal-Copters have been known to match the speed of contragravitic zoomers and similar speeders.

Next up, from the Destiny franchise, we have the Minotaur
Vex Minotaur
Image
One of two species that directly serve the entity known only as the Darkness, the hive-minded and transdimensional Vex whom have a singular goal: to transform themselves and their massive trans-dimensional, trans-corporeal supercomputer-like network known as the Nexus into the very fabric of the universe and basically become an immutable law of the natural world and rule all of existence by default. In particular, the Vex have a particular if not vested interest in paracasual entities and co-opting such forces whenever possible to further their agenda.

Though outwardly the Vex appear as combat automatons constructed of an alloy with the appearance of hammered brass, in truth the Vex are a wholly biological species that take the form of aquatic microorganism known as radiolarian that float within a “mind-fluid” that make up the core processor and reciver of each individual component of the Vex in the form of a Mind Core located within the central mass of the war machines. It is strongly believed that the Vex radiolarian cells are neither born nor made, but rather converted from ordinary matter and biomass, in addition to the fact that these Vex cells cause entheogen effects that can damage the brain if ingested.

The component automaton known as the Minotaur are utilized in infantry support in the form of heavy weaponry in addition to heavy construction of Vex transdimensional structures. As such, each Minotaur is equipped with a void shield and are quite fast for their apparent size. Like all Vex component automatons, the Minotaur has the ability to teleport from far off locations in order to overwhelm and flank potential threats. Combined with the hyper-intelligent hive mind of the Vex, this makes the Minotaur a foe not to be underestimated for one that is central to what amounts to swarm tactics.

And to round out this installment, from the Shantae franchise, we have the Centipede.

Anywho, that'll be it for this installment. So until next time, do these conversions hold their mustard or are there any suggestions or corrections when it comes to OVA2e gameplay compatibility?

My compliments to the mod or mods for a exemplary job of cleaning up all the scam bots that have littered the forum.

Now then, without further delay, let's continue where we left off shall we?

First off, from the Jak and Daxter franchise, we have the Ice Lurker.
Ice Lurker
Image
Also known as Ice Monsters, these lurkers are essentially Babaks composed largely out of solid ice that call the Snowy Mountain home. Though limited in biological traits, the Ice Lurker often spawns from slippery ice and generate spikes that produce from their bodies as they bull rush hostile forces and similar enemies. The only limitation with this tactic is that they may only do so in a straight line

It is strongly believed that the Vex radiolarian cells are neither born nor made, but rather converted from ordinary matter and biomass, in addition to the fact that these Vex cells cause entheogen effects that can damage the brain if ingested.

The component automaton known as the Harpy are utilized in rapid hit and run attacks against hostile infantry, most notably among other Vex constructs and rarely alone even when on patrol. Such agility and nimbleness is achieved through their levitation but at the cost of their ability to teleport at will, instead dependent upon other constructs to be deployed into combat. Combined with the hyper-intelligent hive mind of the Vex, this makes the Minotaur a foe not to be underestimated for one that is central to what amounts to swarm tactics.

I think it's been long enough for the last entries to see if they past gameplay mustard or not. Time enough for new entries.

From the Jak and Daxter franchise, we have the Glacier Troop.
Glacier Troop
Image
A higher tiered lurker, the Glacier Troop is unique amongst the Lurkers in that it not only holds the most human of caricatures but is also intelligent enough to utilize practical clothing as opposed to a collar and diaper most other Lukers don. As such, they not only lead other Lurkers but also operate the more complex of Lurker engines and are nigh-impossible to defeat so long as they have their shield in their possession.

The component automaton known as the Cyclops serve as an observer and artillery piece, typically in a defensive role but is not unheard of for them to be utilized in offensive fashion. It’s greatest weakness, other than the eye that barely protects its Mind Core, is that if it suffers enough damage or is attacked in mid-charge, it will go into a blind berserk state which it will attack allies and foes alike. Like all Vex component automatons, the Cyclops has the ability to teleport from far off locations in order to overwhelm and flank potential threats. Combined with the hyper-intelligent hive mind of the Vex, this makes the Cyclops a foe not to be underestimated for one that is central to what amounts to swarm tactics.

Hailing from the Eagle Wastelands, the Eagle Warriors are naturally flight capable sapient aviaries that attack their ground-bound enemies in a variety of manners; most commonly with either a flurry of blades from above or a dropped bomb. Well it's been a spell since my last entry, and since I didn't see any comments on the last batch, time for the next one.

Next up, from the Destiny Franchise, we conclude the Vex with the Hydra.
Vex Hydra

The component automaton known as the Hydra are massive, segmented constructs with high volumes of defensive and offensive firepower, but mainly serve as processing nodes for a Vex network. Their high lethality is made manifest with a pair of Aeon Maul cannons with their high defensive capacity due to a semi-circular force wall that rotate around the processor node. Like all Vex component automatons, the Hydra has the ability to teleport from far off locations in order to overwhelm and flank potential threats. Combined with the hyper-intelligent hive mind of the Vex, this makes the Cyclops a foe not to be underestimated for one that is central to what amounts to swarm tactics.

Well I think it's been long enough since the last batch, long enough for any critiques. So let's move onto the next installment.

First up, from the Jak and Daxter franchise, we have the Driller Lurker.
Driller Lurker

Essentially specialized Babak, the Driller Lurker is mostly found in caves and caverns and especially during excavation projects. Largely armored against falling rocks and cave-ins, the Driller Lurker is armed largely with its namesake tool, the drill, and will use it against any hostile threat. However, when used in attack, the drill will often malfunction and the Driller Lurker will be forced to restart the engine. Add to the fact that the drill slows the lurker down, it is fairly easy for any adversary to counter the Driller Lurker.
