I’ve seen several OVA fans post links to their house rules and campaigns over the years, but they always seem to get lost in their original threads. So I’ve decided to make a sticky here that I’ll update with links. Feel free to reply with your own!

Darkness in Heaven (Campaign Information by Atmo, Portuguese)
Inheritance of Mana (Campaign Information by Cloud)

In the future I will work on something original to OVA, but now things are too risky...

Its been awhile since I have created a new topic, but I created a new page that makes it easier to view specific posts. Clay, could you update your link to this new one?

I am still needing some help in balancing my species/races. I intend on sometime posting more on the game sometime soon, but the new page will be updated with any new posts.

I'm a indie dev and I'm almost done with my first game and I was thinking about using OVA for a tabletop of my game and I wanted to know if that would be okay with you.

As long as you’re not releasing an OVA-powered product for financial gain, I don’t foresee a problem and encourage you to have fun with it!

Hey everyone, its been awhile.

I have been working on my setting in the shadows and have been having a surprisingly tough time on the actual world map. I have been trying to iron out the details but I have been going super hard on it - so much I believe it may be to my detriment. Ive since decided to only detail the 5 regions of the main land continent- with notes on a few cities within it -leaving the rest up to other GM's imagination.
In addition, I was working on a master list of names, terms and special locations as I think it would be very helpful without having to read through everything. In addition I was working on a -just the facts - version of my setting - cutting out the 'at school' narrative so it would be easier to distill the setting's past. I still haven't figured out what I want to do with the race's though so its largely the same. I will be adding an animal like race to further support the breath of fire inspiration called the Earthborne but that too will come.

Anyway- yes more in the works and I hope everyone else is having fun :-)

Thank you, much appreciated! If I get too stuck I think I'll just ask the help of the board since that way something will actually get done

Howdy!

So... so far, i have been a bit stumped in the world building department. Sine the last time I posted, I added a section on the current era detailing essentially the day to day lives of the people. In addition, I posted the requested - non in story- history of the world. It's still roughly 4 pages/1800 words but I tried to remove the fluff as best as i could.

I am currently working on providing details at a glance for the each of the 5 areas of land. In each area, I plan to cover:
Capitol
Some named Cities
Major exports of the region
Some cultural differences
Travel methods unique to this area
Threats (which can include cultural)
Finally - places of wonder.

My goal is not to go overboard here, but to at least give players and the GM points of interest, so when they play, they can snag some ideas and run with them. An example of how Lite i will go with citys: City of Molasses - this city's primary exports are food goods so they have lots of goods and service guilds. They oddly do not export molasses.

I figure combine this with what I have before, one can set adventures in this world - well once i figure out how i want to deal with species stats...

as always- the main site page is here: https://zalmute.wordpress.com/inheritance-of-mana/
