Re: Using the traits, or Warping OVA for quick NPC creation
They don't have weapon traits in the new edition. It be easier just to give them attack ability separate like a normal character.

Aethercon is an online rpg convention from September 11-13th on roll20.net and it is in it's 5th year. I would love to see some one run an OVA game there. Well there is the starstone Treasure. A prewritten Adventure for OVA. It uses the older edition rules and must be converted though.

Re: How to make (and balance) disposable items in OVA?
The healer ability is not supposed to work in combat. People must lose all health AND endurance to lose. They got like double life bars. If you must have a healing item like a potion for mid combat, list it as an attack with the ammunition flaw and it heals a flat 10 health with a standard action.

Re: Pre-Made Worlds and Storylines
It is far easier to run a game based on an anime series you all watched. Then everyone already 'knows' what kind of characters are expected and what limits the world has.

Re: Anyone try a sword art online game?
I never seen SAO. But the key is to focus on the anime aspect in your game and not the mmo aspect. If try to worry about upgrading gear or leveling constantly, you will just get frustrated. This system is for playing ANIME shows and tries to be crunch light.
