Hah. I was looking up those posts as well before you edited your message. The bigger question, though, is that the wording of Healer Simply roll your Healer dice; the result is the amount of Health recovered. implies that you just add together what you roll for the total healed, and not the highest...

So Saga's various attacks should be Roll 4 (plus any Accurate or Inaccurate): Base 2 plus Agile 2. By the book, Smart doesn't add to Attack Rolls, even for spell attacks. You can either load up an Ability with Area Effect Perks or make use of the “Acting Multiple Times” rules of p. 108 to mow down grunts. Since PCs tend to outclass extras so much, you can take a lot of penalties before it really matters. This fits fine. It reminds me to reread the book more thorough...
