A much more recent inspiration for TFOS would be The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Despite the depressing-sounding title, it's a really funny series now showing in Japan, and don't let the first episode throw you off. :D

The notices went out and I got my revised PDF. :D Thanks for getting it out there, Clay. Also, thanks for including the formerly-exclusive print edition artwork in with the revised PDF. You didn't have to do that, especially since it was meant to be a bonus for the print customers, and the delays we...

Thanks! That helps, and it's a good addendum to add to my printed copy of the PDF version :D I'll still get the print version before too long though. :D

Got a question here....has the revised PDF been made available yet, or did I somehow miss the email with the link somehow? I just tried re-downloading the PDF and it's still the same version as the one I got a few months back.

Cool. Will they be also listed in an errata/addendum page (or two) as well, for those who don't want to reprint the entire PDF to get the rules changes?

As far as a mecha supplement is concerned, a couple things come to mind. First off would be more comprehensive construction rules for a mecha. It doesn't need to be overly complicated (we've got Mekton for the true gear-heads out there), but something that would let us construct them as something th...

Believe me, I was searching all the option menus in Reader 7 for any such checkbox and found none. Oh well, I did manage to get it printed out in the end and enjoy it greatly. The watermark/icon/logo idea may be something to keep in mind for the next revision to the PDF, though. It might also cut do...

Hmmm...were you printing single-sided or double-sided? I was trying to print double-sided, and the odd-page run went all right. It was during the even-page run where things started going awry for me. I did figure out a way of doing it in the end (doing the even pages as chapter-long batches rather t...

My take on OVA

Well, I went and posted a mini-review over at RPGnow with my own thoughts and observations on OVA. Here's the main body of it for comments and feedback: While it’s still new and relatively unknown at this time, OVA is a great rules-light generic RPG to have around, particularly if you’re looking to ...

Not too bad a selection there. I'm still curious as to how a possible art print store will turn out and which illos would be offered, though. :D

Threat Numbers in action

Just got the full PDA version and glancing through it right now (tried printing it out, but my printer chose to start screwing up). So far, it's looking good, and I like the amount of examples used in the book. However, I think that one more should've been put in, and that's illustrating how to gene...
