Thanks for the info. Interesting point of view. I own RA & BESM. I found RA to crunchy for my taste (8 attributes, lots of skills, lots of rules). BESM seemed ok to me.

Unfortunately, there wasn't enough room for this additional information. I did calculate the TV for everyone, at least. ^_^; But through play, it becomes second nature what bonuses the different levels of Abilities and Weaknesses impart. Maybe look at it as incentive to learn the rules. ;) Oh, come...

While Abilities can be conceivably be improved or learned between adventures, Weaknesses are far less easy to get rid of and should require investment with both role-playing and time. I think there is not actual difference between Abilities & Weaknesses in this regard. The problem arises from t...

One question concerning when to apply knockback: Is base or current Health used to calculate knockback?
Base Health: 40 + any mods you get from Abilities & Weaknesses
Current Health: Base Health reduced by the damage your character has already taken
